Gift Baskets For College Students - Send Your Love From Near Or Far

As a parent, sending your child off to college can be tough. Whether they're moving ten minutes or ten hours away, chances are you want to find a way to keep in touch. You know, besides calling them five times a day. Gift baskets will let them know you care, and they can be handy sometimes too. To take care of your baby who is now all grown up try these ideas:

1) Soup Package - The fact about college students is that they're often starving, and if they're not, it's because they just had McDonald's or Taco Bell or something of the sort. So, someone in the gift-basket-making world came up with the fantastic idea to send packages of instant soup! This is perfect for any college student because it can be made in a dorm, is healthy, and only takes a few minutes to make. Soup gift baskets can come with many flavors such as: three cheese potato, chicken and rice, tomato basil, creamy potato and chive, green chili potato and broccoli cheese.

2) Up All Night Package - So we've already established that college students are unhealthy. Well, sorry parents, they also don't sleep. Not at night anyway. Hopefully your student will put some of this nocturnal activity to good use though and cram for a big exam or write a paper. You can help them do that with an exam study package. Oh, and it might temporarily stop them from spending all of their money on Starbucks. You can probably guess the basics of what this package includes, but here's a full list: coffee, hot cocoa, spiced chai, java lollipops, cookies, chocolate covered coffee beans, and latte jelly beans.

3) Movie Night Package - Most parents are worried about the kind of fun their child will choose to have when they go to college, so encouraging a nice calm movie night couldn't hurt. Contrary to popular belief, students do enjoy a relaxing night in after a stressful week at school. A movie package can make these nights even more enjoyable. Some of the things included are: a ten dollar blockbuster gift card, movie themed fortune cookies, caramel popcorn, candy, cookies and pretzels. This package is also something you can put together yourself. When it is more personalized, you can include movies you know your child likes, as well as specific candies or types of popcorn that they prefer. Something to wash down all that sugar wouldn't hurt either!
